Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actress who works in TV and film is best known for films like Rush as well as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the sole child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. At the age of 16years old, she had secured a number of TV roles such as the lead role in the Downfall film Youth Without Youth Control. They praised her part in Der Tunnel. This paved the way for other unforgettable performances, like Adolf Hitler's secretariat Traudl Junge. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are other Oscar nominees featuring women. Alexandra has been involved in various notable films, both nationally and internationally.
